Oroplac has obtained the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification, a guarantee that the company is capable of responding coherently and comprehensively to customer expectations. The company, with an ISO 9001-certified quality system, offers the guarantee of a solid structure, evaluated by an independent body, organised in such a way as to keep all aspects of its activity under control and to guarantee reproducibility of performance and therefore the maintaining but also continuous improvement of the quality standards provided.

Oroplac holds ISO 45001 certification, an international standard for health and safety at work, issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and illnesses. The certification was developed to mitigate all factors that can cause irreparable damage to employees and companies. Its standards are the result of a major effort by a committee of health and safety management experts who closely examined a number of other approaches to managing the system.

OROPLAC, in consideration of its objectives and in light of its mission, aware and convinced that the company’s greatest resource is the human being, has decided to adopt and apply a social responsibility management system that is compliant with the SA8000 Standard, with the aim of disseminating it and verifying its understanding by all internal staff.

This means:
Consider your STAFF as a strategic resource, ensuring respect for their rights and promoting their professional and personal development.
Consider your SUPPLIERS as partners, not only for the implementation of purchasing, control and logistics activities, but also in the context of social responsibility, with the aim of disseminating full application of the principles of the SA8000 standard within the production chain.
Consider your CUSTOMERS as a fundamental element of company success, working for their satisfaction also with regard to the rules of social responsibility and consolidating over time a profitable and satisfying partnership for both parties; this can be achieved through the guarantee of a winning product and the care of a service based on the confidentiality and exclusivity of the human relationship.
Build a lasting relationship of trust based on a good quality/price ratio of the product and a strong image impact; protect the rights of CONSUMERS by working to determine fair market conditions that respect human rights through collaboration, including at an international level, with suppliers who respect ethical principles.

SA 8000: Social Accountability

Oroplac has obtained the Social Accountability 8000 certification. The SA8000 standard constitutes the international standard with which social responsibility is guaranteed, i.e. the commitment to respecting the rules of work ethics and the rejection of all working conditions characterized by inhumanity , exploitation, unfair pay and unhealthy workplaces. This rule is in fact based on the principles dictated by international references on human and workers’ rights.

The Management of Oroplac S.r.l. has decided to equip the Organization with a Management System, in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 45001 standards, suitable for operating in the context of fashion accessories to achieve the following objectives:

Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, regulations and directives (national and community).
Introduce and maintain updated management and monitoring procedures:

  • for the constant monitoring of the health and safety of staff and for the interventions to be carried out in the event of non-compliant situations, anomalies or emergencies;
  • to satisfy customer expectations, needs and satisfaction also through continuous contacts, inspections on their part, meetings at our and their offices, second-party audits (customer at our office), rating indices on customer-specific scales.

Use a team of qualified and controlled suppliers through continuous monitoring of their activities carried out on behalf of our Company.
Identify the dangers of the activities and evaluate in advance the risks for the personnel for what is in place and for each new activity and/or process in order to be able to adopt solutions capable of preventing accidents, professional pathologies and in any case minimizing, as far as technically possible, the ‘happening.
Maintain and increase company know-how through investments in staff training and assets.
Implement specific actions for the identification, analysis and management of non-conformities.
Define objectives and programs for their achievement for the SG, make available a suitable number of trained, efficient human resources and adequate material resources.
Pursue continuous improvement of the SG’s performance through a timely and periodic review of all documentation produced and recorded.

ISO 50001

Oroplac is aware of the strategic part played by energy efficiency in its activities. An effective energy management represents the most successful strategy for reducing consumption, costs and GHG emissions, while generating economic and environmental values. For this reason the Company has set this Energy Policy, aimed at the continuous improvement of energy performance, energy efficiency, energy saving, and the reduction of CO2 emissions related to the activities carried out within the production site.
